"Mandy’s work isn’t just TLC for our horses—it’s essential! We bought a head horse who was in so much body pain he was miserable to be around and difficult to use. He would bite and kick and was at first dangerous for Mandy to work on. But she didn’t give up, and after the first session he was a different horse. Eventually, he turned into a kid-gentle horse that loved to go see her and worked better after every session. When I sold him last year, it was on the condition that the new owner continue to use Mandy, because she’s such a difference maker!"

"Over the years we have tried other professionals to work on our horses, but we feel that Mandy Mankin by far has helped them out the most. She not only takes time to hear and understand what the current issues are, but she takes the time to look at their daily eating habits and exercise programs to see if anything can be altered to help the horse. Mandy Mankin evaluates the entire horse thoroughly and addresses all the areas that are needed. Her background and experience in and out of the arena helps her understand what these horses need to be at the top of their game. Our horses are so grateful to have Mandy Mankin to work on them."

"I just want to say I have used Mandy for over 8 years, and she has been the miracle on all my horses. It is so amazing to watch her make the horses feel better so quickly and she shows you as the owner how to help keep your horse in shape. She has a way of talking to the horses and they do talk back. With my horse, his tongue looks like a lizard when he is happy and his head is down. When he is showing her where he hurts, he paws and pins his ears at her and says right there, lady. I am locked up and hurting. Help me. That is why she is amazing. Just for maintenance or even after an injury she is the Greatest lady out there working on horses. Plus, she explains everything she does which is so helpful."

"Without the talented help of Mandy Mankin, I was about to give up on my 6 yr old 1D barrel horse. My mare had been in a wreck with a fence several months earlier. It had happened during the night so I have no idea what exactly happened, I just knew that I had a completely wrecked metal panel & a horse with little to no visible signs compared to the damage of the gate. She appeared to be completely sound, but our times were getting progressively slower & she was doing things during her run that she never had done before. We had seen a couple chiropractors... minimal improvement. Had her completely gone over by an equine vet...again minimal improvement. Then we found Mandy!! After 1 treatment of muscle therapy & rest we had marked improvement. She taught me stretches & things that I could do at home to help my mare recover. From the findings of that 1st treatment we are guessing that she somersaulted over the gate therefore jamming her neck, jamming shoulders & withers & continued onto her hips. After the follow up care that Mandy happily & encourages her clients to do, our next treatment showed extreme improvement. We went to a big 3-day race where we had 3 clean runs to win the 2D average. I truly believe that without Mandy as part of our team I would still be wondering how to get my sound 1D barrel horse back. I highly recommend her for your horse, no matter what discipline."

"Mandy is someone who I’ve learned so much from. She has been working on my horses for over 3 years now and I learn something new every time. Mandy has a different outlook on how to work on horses and it has opened new doors for me on how to take care of them. She is like no other. Mandy focuses on the muscles themselves which helps to allow bones to be correct and to stay that way. She has shown me acupressure points, energy work, and stretches to help keep my horses sound and happy. I strongly recommend this wonderful lady. Mandy is the best!"

"Mandy Mankin has been working on our horses for years!! She is our go to person on a regular basis. Horses absolutely love her kind gentle way in working with them. If my vet can’t find the root of an issue, she will recommend going to see Mandy! She never rushes or stresses a horse when working on them-she helps them find the right spot to put themselves back into balance. Mandy is a must have in any horse program!"

"We have been taking our Rope horses to Mandy for many years now.....
She is extremely knowledgeable on the anatomy of the horse and very thorough. The horses sense her ability to make them feel better. We have a 20 year old that my husband ropes bulls on and Mandy keeps him going and feeling young. I have seen his hip dropped, his shoulder bothering him and when we leave he is totally back to normal. A couple years ago my husband was getting ready to give this horse away, he was basically three legged...Mandy worked on him a couple times that fall and he really came around....ironically he needed a ride to Las Vegas to rope Mexican Fighting Bulls and Mandy and her family had a hole in their trailer as they were headed to Las Vegas the same time. It turned into three days getting to Las Vegas and Mandy every time she unloaded this horse she took it upon herself to work on him. Much to our surprise when they pulled into Vegas we watched a 18 year old horse come off the trailer like a spring chicken and he has continued to stay that way and we still use him to this day with Mandy keeping him going for us.
She has the passion and the drive to want to see every horse succeed.
My favorite part watching Mandy work her magic is watching the horses lick their lips or simply taking a deep breath of relief.
Her work is amazing and she keeps all our horses working great and we could not be as competitive as we are without her help."

"I have known Mandy for awhile now as she has worked on my families horses for quite sometime.
Being in the Bucking Bull Business it is a huge uphill climb keeping these bulls sound and at the level they need to be to be competitive.
I asked her back in 2015 had she ever worked on a bull and I believe her answer was “No” however she was willing to give it a try. I was skeptical because here is a lady that weighs a buck ten soaking wet and she is going to work on 1500-1800 lbs bucking bulls.
My 2013 World Champion “The Rocker” had a slight lameness issue in his right front...she was able to cure it and when I say cure it....to this day he has not taken a lame step in that leg.
In 2016 once again I was in the running to have another World Champion Bucking Bull...Tango was extremely athletic but sometimes did not know his limits and he would buck so hard he was twisting his pelvis. Mandy was able to diagnose this and found a way believe it or not to allow a bulls pelvis to move back where it needed to. She was so passionate and caring that during her work at an exact time the Bull would have to take one step forward. The first 4-5 treatments that year we had our hands full getting him to take that step . Soon after that we began to notice the bull would take the step on his own and he new Mandy was going to fix him and make him feel better. He went on that same year to Win the Year End World Champion Futurity Bucking Bull.
Tango and I went to 40+ events that year and we would have not accomplished what we did without Mandy’s help."

"I love everything Mandy has done for my horses! I knew chiropractic work was good for horses, but I never knew how life changing a different approach was for them until I started taking mine to Mandy. Not only did she help them, but she walked me through every step she did and taught me the how’s and why's of what she was doing. As someone who is very picky about her horses, I was so happy that she was willing to talk me through everything and show me what to look for next time. She always goes above and beyond for my boys and is always a text away if I have questions or concerns. Every horse I have taken to her has made a 180 in terms of their mood and willing to work; they feel good and STAY feeling good! Many thanks to Mandy and her skills, I wouldn’t take my crew to anyone else!"

"Hey Mandy, it’s Dani. You did my buckskin and grey a couple months ago. I just wanted to follow up with you, I apologize for the gap in time, I hope you all had a great holiday season ours was crazy busy. I just wanted you to know how truly grateful we are to you!! We have two totally different horses and in the most positive way and I know it is due to your help. Misty (the ‘c’ shaped buckskin) is now loving and willing to work and be handled. I owe you so much words could never express it enough. I now have tears of joy when I watch her work in comfort and with pleasure to be ridden by her boy. My grey is still a goober but I can tell in his movements that he feels better and is more comfortable relaxing, sunbathing etc.!! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!"

"My Head Horse that I was hauling to the Rodeos came up sore and he tried to buck me off several different times which was out of his character. I took him to Mandy and after several visits she told me she thought he might have had a back injury that had resulted in losing back muscle. She told me what she thought might help him as far as supplements to help build that muscle back and with a few visits back to her....he is now 15 years old and still going strong.
The horses love Mandy....
My 4 year old futurity prospect was in an accident at the tie rail...she was hurting so bad that the first time Mandy looked at her she cow kicked and bit at her. Today I am now competing on her and she feels great.
Mandy has taught me how to safely work on my own horses enough that if I am away from home I can at least help them correctly until I can get them to her.
She is very thorough and reaches out to their entire body. I give credit to Mandy for keeping all my Rope and Barrel Horses going."
